✨ This is a book club, reimagined.

Our Sacred Book Circle is a women’s book club for those seeking more than a traditional book club.

Inspired by the Magdalene path, this online spiritual book club for women blends meaningful discussion, personal reflection, and lived experience.

Rather than simply discussing a book, participants explore what the text awakens within them — creating space for personal growth, spiritual discovery, and authentic conversation.

Each circle focuses on a powerful text exploring themes such as:

• Mary Magdalene and early Christian traditions
• the sacred feminine
• spiritual awakening and inner knowing
• personal transformation through wisdom literature

Unlike a traditional book club, our Magdalene Book Circle invites women to:

  • • reflect on what the text stirs within them

  • • share insights from lived experience

  • • integrate the teachings into daily life

  • • be witnessed in a supportive spiritual community

Our next Sacred Book Circle begins April 9 and features two influential texts exploring the spiritual roots of early Christianity and the Magdalene tradition.

Each circle is intentionally limited to 12 participants to create an intimate and meaningful experience.

🌹 Book Circle I: Foundational Path

THE WOMAN WITH THE ALABASTER JAR by Margaret Starbird

This circle explores the symbolic and spiritual legacy of Mary Magdalene.

When Margaret Starbird encountered theories suggesting that Mary Magdalene may have played a far greater role in the story of Jesus than traditional history allowed, she set out to disprove them.

Instead, her research led her on a profound journey through scripture, medieval symbolism, art, mythology, and historical clues that point toward a hidden feminine presence within Christian tradition.

In The Woman with the Alabaster Jar, Starbird investigates the mysterious woman who anointed Jesus with sacred oil—an act that may symbolize a deeper partnership and spiritual lineage.

Her work asks a powerful question:

What happens when the forgotten feminine returns to the Christian story?

This circle offers:

  • ➡ Exploration of Magdalene symbolism in art and history

  • ➡ Discussion of hidden feminine traditions within Christianity

  • ➡ Reflection on restoring balance between masculine and feminine spirituality

📅 Thursdays, 5pm PST / 8pm EST
📆 Starting April 9th

THE GNOSTIC GOSPELS by Elaine Pagels

This circle is for those who want to understand what history actually reveals about early Christianity.

When thirteen ancient manuscripts were discovered in Nag Hammadi, Egypt in 1945, they revealed a startling truth: early Christianity was far more diverse and spiritually exploratory than the tradition that later became orthodox.

In The Gnostic Gospels, Elaine Pagels examines these texts—including the Gospel of Thomas and the Gospel of Mary Magdalene—to show that many early followers of Jesus believed the divine could be discovered through inner awakening rather than religious authority.

These writings challenge long-held assumptions about:

• spiritual authority
• resurrection
• the role of women
• and how the teachings of Jesus were originally understood

Pagels’ work opened the door for generations of scholars and seekers to reconsider the spiritual landscape of the first Christians.

This circle offers:

  • ➡ Historical insight into the Nag Hammadi discoveries

  • ➡ Exploration of the Gospel of Mary and other Gnostic texts

  • ➡ Discussion of alternative Christian traditions that were later suppressed

Thursdays, 10am PST / 1pm EST
📅 Starts April 9th
