Exploring the wisdom of Mary Magdalene through history, consciousness, scholarship, and lived spiritual practice.

This July, we invite you into a month of remembrance.
Not the remembering of facts or history alone, but the quiet recognition of something your soul has always known.
For centuries, women have searched outside themselves for permission, belonging, and truth. Yet Mary Magdalene’s teachings point in another direction. They remind us that wisdom cannot be given. It can only be remembered.
Every gathering this month is an invitation to return to that remembrance. Whether you are joining us for Soul Voice Activation, Red Thread, the Magdalene Rising Summit, or simply reading these words with an open heart, you are participating in something much larger than a calendar of events.
You are participating in restoration.
There comes a moment on the path when awakening stops feeling like becoming someone new and begins to feel like returning to someone ancient within us.
Soul Remembrance is the quiet turning back toward the inner authority that existed before conditioning, before fear, before the world taught us to doubt what we knew.
Mary Magdalene’s teachings do not ask us to abandon our humanity. They ask us to listen beneath the noise of the divided mind and return to the wisdom of the soul.
On July 22, Christians around the world celebrate the Feast of Mary Magdalene.
In 2016, Pope Francis elevated her memorial to the rank of a Feast, formally recognizing her unique role as the Apostle to the Apostles.
Yet July 22 also carries a more haunting memory. On July 22, 1209, Béziers fell during the opening campaign of the Albigensian Crusade. Thousands were killed, including many who had sought refuge inside the Church of Saint Mary Magdalene.
History has a strange way of layering meaning upon meaning. One day now holds the remembrance of the woman whose voice was nearly erased and the memory of those who suffered in struggles over spiritual authority, belief, and power.
Every tradition leaves traces.
Sometimes those traces appear in manuscripts, liturgies, feast days, legends, paintings, pilgrimages, and the stories women whisper to one another long after official histories have moved on.
This month, we begin with July 22 because it asks an uncomfortable and necessary question: What happens when the sacred feminine is celebrated in one breath and silenced in another?
The work of remembrance is not about romanticizing the past. It is about learning how to read what was hidden, distorted, or buried, and asking what still lives beneath the surface.
We are deeply honored by the generosity of these extraordinary teachers, whose work has helped restore Mary Magdalene’s message for a new generation.

Take three slow breaths.
Ask inwardly:
What have I been trying to become that I am actually being asked to remember?
Let the answer rise gently. Do not chase it. Do not edit it. Let the soul speak in its own language.
May remembrance become stronger than fear. May the voice beneath the noise grow clear. May each gathering, question, and quiet return become another thread in the restoration of wisdom.
Choose the doorway that feels most alive for you.
