There are so many projects bubbling up at Magdalene Rising Collective, it feels like we’ve tapped into something huge. Each of us—Genvieve, Michelle, Carrie, and me—has a unique angle, but one thing ties it all together: Mary Magdalene as our guide for this wild divine feminine revolution.
I’ve spent months knee-deep in books, summits, and ancient texts, and let me tell you, the rabbit hole is real. Somewhere along the way, I stumbled upon Marguerite Rigoglioso’s The Secret Life of Mother Mary, and everything flipped upside down.
We’ve heard plenty about MM (Mary Magdalene, of course), but the idea of Mother Mary as a spiritual badass who could create life through mind-blowing divine practices? That’s next-level. Picture this: Mother Mary wasn’t some sad, silent figure we’ve been spoon-fed in church. She was fully aware of her purpose, working alongside angels, energies, and sound frequencies to bring the son of God into this world. I mean, forget “Immaculate Conception,” this was more like “Divine, Esoteric Mastery.”
And get this—her entire life was a prep course for this role. She didn’t just get tapped on the shoulder by God one day and say, "Sure, I’ll have a miracle baby!" She knew the drill, was groomed from birth, and had powers that were basically next-level yogic mysticism. Oh, and she knew exactly what she signed up for—so this whole poor, weeping mother thing? Yeah, that’s just another patriarchal narrative designed to strip away her true power.
Which brings me to the bigger point—women have been lied to for centuries. We’ve been told we’re too much of this, too little of that, and not enough of whatever else, but it’s all part of a grand scheme to diminish the divine feminine. We’ve forgotten that we are walking miracles. The patriarchy did everything it could to make us forget.
Marguerite Rigoglioso dives into some wild ideas about divine births, godlike beings, and collaborations with otherworldly forces. I know, sounds a little out there, right? But isn’t that just the point? Patriarchy wants us to dismiss anything that shakes their version of the story.
Mother Mary wasn’t just in the story—she wrote it. She was a spiritual leader, right alongside her son, and it’s time we remember that. This book isn’t just about religion—it’s about reclaiming the divine feminine, reclaiming ourselves.
So, if you’re ready to join me on this ride, stay tuned.
We’re just getting started!
