A SACRED REMEMBERING
The documentaries. The theories. The speculation. Everyone has an opinion about Mary Magdalene.
We wanted to go deeper.
We wanted the scholars working closely with ancient languages, manuscripts, sacred sites, and the earliest texts. The researchers who lived and studied in ancient Magdala. The translators working with the Gospel of Mary in its original Greek. The historians, theologians, pilgrimage guides, mystics, and practitioners who have spent decades with the texts, the sacred sites, and the questions beneath the questions.
We followed the breadcrumbs so you do not have to.
The Magdalene Rising Summit is where we gather the voices, research, lived traditions, and sacred conversations that help us see Mary Magdalene more clearly.

This year’s summit brings together an extraordinary circle of scholars, mystics, authors, theologians, priestesses, researchers, pilgrimage guides, and spiritual teachers.
Each carries a different thread of the Magdalene story.
Some are returning to ancient texts.
Some are working with ritual, prayer, sound, oil, ceremony, and the body.
Some are tracing the sacred geography of Paris, Glastonbury, the Holy Land, France, and the Cathar lands.
Some are asking what changes when we take Mary Magdalene seriously as teacher, witness, mystic, beloved, apostle, priestess, or living symbol of the Divine Feminine.
Together, they are helping us explore what was buried, what survived, and what is returning now.

Mary Magdalene in the Canonical & Apocryphal Gospels
The 3rd Annual Magdalene Rising Summit is a gathering of many perspectives, held in reverence for the questions that have shaped this movement for generations.
Across four days, you will encounter conversations, teachings, rituals, interviews, meditations, and sacred practices exploring:
🌹 Mary Magdalene in the canonical and apocryphal Gospels
🌹 The Gospel of Mary and early Christian mysticism
🌹 The Divine Feminine in scripture, history, and sacred tradition
🌹 Sacred union, embodiment, ritual, anointing, and the living temple within
🌹 Black Madonnas, sacred geography, pilgrimage, and the holy places still carrying her story
🌹 Grief, resurrection, devotion, feminine leadership, and love that remains present at the threshold
🌹 The historical, symbolic, mystical, and deeply human dimensions of Mary Magdalene’s legacy
This is a gathering for women who want more than simplified answers.
For women who are willing to question inherited stories with both discernment and devotion.
For women who are ready to remember that spiritual authority was never meant to live only outside of them.

Embodying the Divine Feminine in Daily Life
Magdalene Rising began with a simple recognition.
So many women were asking the same questions in private.
Questions about the version of Christianity they inherited.
Questions about women, power, embodiment, intuition, prayer, sexuality, spiritual authority, and the stories they were taught to accept without question.
Questions about why Mary Magdalene seemed to hover at the edge of the story, even though something about her presence felt central.
We were asking them too.
What began as conversations between women who felt drawn to early Christian texts, spiritual awakening, and the forgotten feminine gradually became a shared vision: to create a place where these questions could be held with curiosity, care, scholarship, lived experience, and room to breathe.
We are not here to hand anyone a new doctrine.
We are here to gather the pieces.
To look more closely.
To let history, sacred text, devotion, mystery, and our own inner knowing speak to one another.
And to create a space where women no longer have to choose between intelligence and intuition, scholarship and spirit, grounded inquiry and sacred longing.
Sandi Rufo
Sandi is a writer, researcher, teacher, and co-founder of Magdalene Rising and The Magdalene Network. Her work is devoted to helping women dismantle the conditioning that silences their inner authority and return to the wisdom already alive within them.
Through her writing, courses, circles, and research into Mary Magdalene, early Christianity, and the Divine Feminine, she creates spaces where women can question deeply, remember honestly, and reclaim their own soul voice.
Carrie Schulze
Carrie is a teacher, devotional guide, and co-founder of Magdalene Rising and The Magdalene Network.. Her work is rooted in prayer, ritual, the rosary, Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, and the daily practice of building a living relationship with the sacred.
She brings tenderness, devotion, and spiritual steadiness to the work, helping women discover that prayer does not have to be borrowed language. It can become an intimate conversation between the heart and the Divine.
Linda DelToro
Linda is a co-founder of Magdalene Network and an integral keeper of the community’s vision, care, and gathering spaces. Together with Sandi and Carrie, she helps hold the practical and spiritual architecture of a movement dedicated to remembrance, sisterhood, and the restoration of feminine wisdom.

The Magdalene Network is a growing community devoted to reclaiming the hidden wisdom of Mary Magdalene, the Divine Feminine, the Gospel of Mary, and the inner path of awakening.
We are not here to hand you another doctrine. We are here to create a sacred space where women can study, question, remember, practice, and return to the authority of their own soul.
Our summit began as a gathering of women, scholars, mystics, authors, and wisdom keepers who felt called to restore Mary Magdalene to her rightful place as teacher, apostle, priestess, and guide. Now, for our 3rd Annual Magdalene Rising Summit, we are gathering again.
